In December Denfit refurbished two kitchens in Woking one was a complete refit including the removal of a dividing wall to make the extension part of the kitchen. Also a Velux window was added in the roof to provide addition light. The kitchen designer planned out the kitchen to the design the customer required. However with Denfit’s knowledge they viewed the proposed plans before commencing work and explained to the client that visually it was not the best solution. They quickly offered an alternative idea that improved the overall look of the new kitchen. The Kitchen was completely striped out and new kitchen units and island were fitted. Along with new worktops, lighting, flooring and the re-painting in a different colour totally transformed the kitchen. These changes created additional space where the family can congregate around the island, all the family enjoy the new improved kitchen.
The second kitchen was a much tighter budget but the work totally changed the visual appearance of the kitchen. The worktops and wall tiles were removed and replaced with the modern alternative of using a worktop and upstand to replace the tiles, the remainder of the old tile area was re-plastered and painted to create an up to date kitchen. The existing kitchen unit doors were hand painted, then new appliances were fitted. These minor changes totally transform the kitchen and the client was overjoyed with the end result.
The moral of the blog is that you don’t have to spend a fortune to transform your kitchen.
